EPA data shows radiation spike in major US city soon after explosions at nuclear waste facility nearby — AP: Drums of buried waste were blasted over site’s fence; Large crater reported — Emergency Official: US gov’t brought in “resources I’ve never even seen before, it was amazing” (VIDEO)
Nevada Nuclear spike from fire!
New York Times (AP), Oct 25, 2015 (emphasis added): Radioactive Dump That Burned in Nevada Had Past Troubles… State officials said this week they didn’t immediately know what blew up… A state fire inspector, Martin Azevedo, surveyed the site on Wednesday. His report, obtained Friday by The Associated Press, described moisture in the pit and “heavily corroded” 55-gallon drums in and around the 20-foot-by-30-foot crater. Debris from the blast spread 190 feet. Two drums were found outside the fence line… Nevada state emergency management chief Caleb Cage said operating records for the damaged trench…weren’t immediately available… [Former Nevada Governor Robert List] expressed doubt that anyone will ever know what’s really underground at the site. “Good luck with that,” he said. “What we found when we did our investigation was they had very, very skimpy records about what was there.”
Vance Payne, Director of Emergency Management for Nye County, Oct 20, 2015 Board of County Commissioners meeting (at 1:18:45 in): Our federal partners from DOE [US Dept. of Energy] put to bearresources I’ve never even seen before, it was amazing. The effort was nothing short of herculean. There was overflights of aircraft with special monitoring equipment that was put in the air just as fast as they were able — when the weather cleared a little bit — and they did it on the ground. The CST team, the Civil Support Team, came down from Reno and they came down in a hurry — it was amazing how fast they moved their teams. They did ground testing, they did mid-level aerial testing, and they did high-level area testing over the towns of Amargosa and Beatty — as well as the entire transportation line north to south on Highway 95 and 373. So I can tell you that No. 1, it was amazing. I can tell you that a lot of effort was put into making sure that our county and communities were as safe as we could probably make them. This morning we’re getting additional reports coming in, and they’ll continue to come in on the testing over the next few weeks. No radioactive materials were detected anywhere on the ground or in the air.
KTNV Las Vegas, Oct 19, 2015 (at 0:45 in): Preliminary air quality tests say the air is fine — butNye County officials aren’t trusting just that — more extensive surveys are being done, and those results could take days.

You know, when I read headlines such as this:
FBI chief tries to deal with the ‘Ferguson effect’
and others talking about the state of the country, as far as police, crime, financially, or otherwise, I always think about something that I read a long time ago when I first started reading lawsuits for content and case law:
“These, then, are the considerations of reason and experience which point to the rejection of a doctrine that would freely admit in a federal criminal trial evidence seized by state agents in violation of the defendant’s constitutional rights. But there is another consideration—the imperative of judicial integrity. It was of this that Mr. Justice Holmes and Mr. Justice Brandeis so eloquently spoke in Olmstead v. United States, 277 U.S. 438, at pages 469, 471, 48 S.Ct. 564, at pages 569, 570, 72 L.Ed. 729, more than 30 years ago. ‘For those who *223 agree with me,’ said Mr. Justice Holmes, ‘no distinction can be taken between the government as prosecutor and the government as judge.’ 277 U.S. at page 470, 48 S.Ct. at page 575. (Dissenting opinion.) ‘In a government of laws,’ said Mr. Justice Brandeis, ‘existence of the government will be imperilled if it fails to observe the law scrupulously. Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. To declare that in the administration of the criminal law the end justifies the means—to declare that the government may commit crimes in order to secure the conviction of a private criminal—would bring terrible retribution. Against that pernicious doctrine this court should resolutely set its face.’ 277 U.S., at page 485, 48 S.Ct. at page 575. (Dissenting opinion.)
“Mind-blowing” die off of seabirds underway from California to Alaska — Experts: “This is unprecedented… Worst I’ve ever seen… Why they’re dying, I’m still baffled” — “Every bird we’re seeing is starving to death… Basically withering away” — “Catastrophic molting” due to unknown cause (VIDEO)
Published: October 15th, 2015 at 4:47 pm ET
San Francisco Chronicle, Oct 15, 2015 (emphasis added): [T]housands of common murres… have been found dead… “all signs point to starvation from a lack of forage fish,” [Marine ecologist Kirsten Lindquist] said, adding that the same problem has been documented along the Oregon, Washington and Alaska coastlines… many endemic marine birds and mammals are suffering.
International Bird Rescue, Sep 22, 2015: An unprecedented number of exhausted, hungry seabirds continue to flood International Bird Rescue’s San Francisco Bay Center… The sight of so many starving seabirds has raised red flags among seabird scientists…
Santa Cruz Sentinel, Sep 25, 2015: A troubling number of starved and weak seabirds are washing ashore on beaches from the Monterey Bay to Alaska… “There’s been die-offs in the past, but this is one of the worst ones I’ve ever seen,” said Lupin Egan, an animal technician… “it’s been really crazy,” said spokesman Russ Curtis. “They’re really sick — just feather and bone.”… “At Waddell and Greyhound (Rock) beaches, I saw the most murres I’ve ever seen in 10 years,” said Cori Gibble, seabird health coordinator with the UC Davis Wildlife Health Center in Santa Cruz. “You see them on the tide line. They’re kind of strewn all over the beaches… It’s been a really strange year“…
ABC San Francisco, Sep 22, 2015: The number of birds being delivered to the rescue center daily is the number that usually comes over the entirety of a month, center officials said. “The sheer number of birds we’re seeing is pretty mind-blowing“… Curtis said. “This is unprecedented. Sometimes we get spikes and it dissipates. But it has not stopped.”
Sacramento Bee, Sep 24, 2015: Rescue center overwhelmed with starving seabirds… Fairfield rescue center has seen 25 times more common murres than normal… Across Northern California… malnourished seabirds have been appearing in alarming numbers, some shrunken to little more than feather and bone… The murres’ presence is significant to scientists because they’re considered a marker species, whose movements and numbers signal changes in the ocean’s food supply… “Our gut tells us there is something going on in the marine environment.”… Some of the birds that are being brought into the center are showing symptoms of catastrophic molting, where large patches of their bodies are missing feathers, said Kelly Berry, wildlife manager with the center. The cause is unknown…
Santa Cruz Sentinel, Sep 2, 2015: A huge influx of weak, starving seabirds have been overwhelming a Fairfield bird rescue center… “They’re like the canaries in the coal mines,” Curtis said… “the first ones to tell us if… there’s something wrong with our environment.”
KTVU, Sep 25 2015: Up and down the West Coast, thousands of starving sea birds are washing up… [The murres] resemble penguins, but can fly… “They are washing up extremely skinny… They’re starving to death,” lead rehabilitation technician Isabel Luevano told KTVU… “they’re basically withering away“… More heron and egret hatchlings have needed care this summer as well…
Half Moon Bay Review, Sep 30, 2015: [T]he magnitude of and reason for this die-off is perplexing to experts… [Gerry McChesney, of the Farallon National Wildlife Refuge said] “we’ve had a strip of cold water near the coast (of Half Moon Bay), concentrating anchovies and mackerel. With what seems to be all this food up against the coast, why these murres are dying, I’m still baffled by.”
Daily Astorian, Aug 25, 2015: “There’s a pretty raging debate among seabird biologists at the moment,” [Julia Parish of the U. of Washington] added…“Every bird we’re seeing is starving to death,” [Josh Saranpaa, of the Wildlife Center of the North Coast] said. “It’s pretty bad.” Many are adults… The high number of starving adults along the North Coast, even experienced scavenger birds, indicates a “serious sign of a stressed ecosystem,” Parish said… “When you see so many starving, something is not quite right out there,” Saranpaa said… It’s also “been a really odd year,” Parish said, with multiple regional scale events…
KMXT (Alaska), Sep 16, 2015: Massive seabird die-off hits Kodiak… [National Wildlife Refuge bird biologist Robin Corcoran] said she doesn’t know what could have caused the deaths.
KMXT, Sep 15, 2015: “It does look like the birds are emaciated, which means they don’t have any fat on their bodies, and they don’t have any food in their digestive systems“… [Corcoran] says it could be connected to the whale die-offs, and they’ll be considering environmental factors… Corcoran says the Refuge’s survey data has also indicated that several other bird species’ numbers have declined…

BILLIONS OF BQ/M3 CONTAINING HIGH LEVEL LIQUID RADIOACTIVE WASTE FLOWING NON STOP INTO PACIFIC OCEAN, IAEA WANTS TO DUMP ALL TANKS INTO OCEAN

Fukushima – 200 MILLION Gallons Of Highly Radioactive Water Are Pouring Into Pacific Per Day, Or More; via @AGreenRoad
There is a huge ‘death zone’ radioactive river pouring out of Fukushima and no one is studying the effect of both the initial accident, this 400 tons a day ‘leak’, the huge garbage plume and the effects of both the chemicals, oil, and radiation on ocean creature life, much less the effects of Fukushima on human beings and animals such as seals, whales, polar bears and more.
Ignoring Fukushima will not change what happens. This deadly radiation will have a negative effect. Certainly the nuclear industry does not want anyone researching this, so they are putting their money into promoting new plants, through the IAEA and their favorite politicians.

Some things are known about how low dose radiation concentrates up the food chain to humans.
2014 Fukushima Pacific Ocean Radiation And How It Concentrates In Mussels, Sea Stars, Chitons, Clams, Oysters, And Fish; via @AGreenRoad
As the supposedly diluted and harmless radiation kills or sickens algae, this concentrated radiation moves up the food chain. Some of these contaminated algae move up the food chain and are eaten by fish. These fish are eaten by larger fish. Each step up the food chain concentrates the radiation more and more.
Via CodeShutdown October 8, 2014 “For perspective, 47 Bq/ft^3 average contamination of the top 200 feet of ocean is within a reasonable agreement to tests and models which show up to 30 Bq/m^3 coming to the U.S. coast and this is bio-concentrated by plankton 10,000 to 100,000 times. Bad news for plankton, plankton eaters and the animals and people who eat them! The radioactive plankton sink to the bottom and marine biologists should be testing all of this!
The average annual concentration of 90Sr in water supplies should not exceed 8 pCi/L (0.3 Bq/L)

Harvested fish will contain 40 times the radioactivity of the sea water. Infectious, cardiovascular and other diseases are bigger contributors to death than cancer;
70 TO 90 PERCENT OF ALL HUMAN BODY RADIATION CONTAMINATION GOES INTO BODY AFTER A NUCLEAR ACCIDENT VIA FOOD AND DRINKS, OVER TIME
70 to 90% of all man made radiation comes into and bio accumulates in the human body via food and drinks long term, long after the nuclear accident spill, plume or accident is gone from the news screens.
There are many studies and charts that break down exactly how much of each radioactive element accumulates where and over what period of time, so this subject is not in dispute. Of course, that does not stop the pro nuclear apologists from saying that all of this radiation being ingested is ‘good’ for you, despite it being a heavy metal poison, and then radioactive on top of that.
FEB 2015 UPDATE: 200 Kilometers Of Canadian Pacific Coast Line Dead Zone Devoid of 99% Of All Life, Almost All Tidal Zone Species Missing Entirely
Something very bad and very deadly is happening in the Pacific oceans. Maybe radiation from Fukushima is just one of many things that are causing the mass die off of just about all life in the Pacific. The supposed experts deny anything really bad is happening and blame ‘viruses’ on the mass die off of many sea life species such as sea stars, seals, and more.
They refuse to test the tissues of dead animals and other sea creatures for radiation or heavy metals such as uranium or plutonium.
WHAT EFFECT DOES FUKUSHIMA RADIATION HAVE ON OXYGEN PRODUCING ALGAE IN OCEANS?
As some percentage of the algae die in massive numbers from radiation effects, they fall to the ocean bottom, potentially causing massive effects on the oxygen content of the bottom layer of ocean, plus a reduction in oxygen production in the top layer of ocean. This issue also deserves study by scientists.
What we breathe is oxygen. 70% of all oxygen produced on the planet comes from algae in the ocean. What if that algae is reduced by 90% or even disappears?

What if the oxygen producing algae is replaced by bacteria that feed on dead algae falling to the bottom of the ocean, which then creates massive amounts of poisonous and deadly hydrogen sulfide, also know as H2S? Reports from some experts are that dead zones in the ocean are increasing all around the world due to this reason.
PLUTONIUM WENT ALL THE WAY AROUND THE WORLD AFTER 3/11 FUKUSHIMA MEGA NUCLEAR DISASTER
On top of all of these things and more, humanity all around the world is just waiting for the 8-10 year time clock to run out, which is when the plutonium and all of the other cancer causing Fukushima nuclear time bombs will be triggered.

PLUTONIUM AND OTHER MAN MADE ELEMENTS MOVING UP THE FOOD CHAIN
Meanwhile, Fukushima radiation and particularly extra toxic and deadly plutonium is moving up the food chain and through the food web, contaminating, killing, sickening, causing havoc and chaos. Fishermen can no longer catch fish. They are saying catches have dropped off a cliff for many species. Many more are showing up sick, bleeding, full of tumors, different colors, etc.

US Pacific Coast Seaweed Shows With Fukushima Cesium Contamination – October 19th, 2013 – SimplyInfo; New testing done by Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Dept. of Civil and Environmental Engineering found Fukushima cesium in US Pacific sea weed. The samples were standardized against a known amount of cesium 137 and cobalt 60. The finding of cesium 134 would indicate this is at least partially from the Fukushima nuclear disaster. “Washington State Pacific coast eel weed sample contained 8.14 Bq/Kg of Cs134 and 8.88 Bq/Kg of Cs137. It also contained 3.7 Bq/Kg of Co60” http://www.fukuleaks.org/web/?p=11613

Gay Sheffield, NOAA Sea Grant (US Dept. of Commerce) marine advisory agent, July 2014 at 31:00 in (emphasis added): “I’m here in Bering Strait and I know there’s people [on this call] from all over the state, so they may not be familiar with some of our events. Right after Fukushima blew, we had, and still sort of have… an unusual mortality event with four species of seals in this region, all the way from Bristol Bay, up to Barrow (the Russian side), and all the way into Canada… A lot of people were curious, because we have never been able to find an infectious disease. A lot of people were concerned and worried that this Fukushima radiation had some effect… Fukushima is a big concern in this region… Fukushima is always on people’s minds… Here’s the cover of the Nome Nugget, that’s our newspaper here, and the top story was the lack of radiation monitoring was really annoying people — that we had nothing, nothing was being done. It was a concern all the time on people’s minds — with the seals, with the birds, and what not… it was making the front news of the paper. I hope that lets others know that the concern people have in Western Alaska… it’s a big thing.”
A long list of unusual events soon after Fukushima may explain why it’s “always on people’s minds” in Alaska:
Nanwalek, AK… Change in barnacle numbers raises harvest questions… Above normal amounts of barnacles [have] fallen from the coastal rocks. They are concerned about the amount of change in the shellfish… We have not seen this before and… are worried about the safety of chitons and shellfish to eat.
Shishmaref, AK… Discolored seal with sores on side flipper… Hopefully this seal will bring us closer to understanding what may be causing the illness and disease that our marine mammals are being affected by… [Another seal] came from Russia, colored orange.
Shishmaref, AK… Unusual bearded seal… slime within the mouth… upon butchering there was hardly any fat… the liver was described as small… approximately 1/2 the size of a normal liver… kidney was approximately twice as big as the other… the bigger kidney had the appearance of darker color, and also most black… [sores] on the liver and kidney.
Old Harbor, AK… Three dead whales…This is an unusual sighting for us.
McDonald Spit, AK… Intertidal zone barnacle mortality… The fauna on the intertidal rocks seems to decreased… A lot of the large barnacle shells are empty… [We] are concerned and curious what caused this change.
St. George, AK… Two marine mammal carcasses were found… I’m getting out information so if other dead mammals are spotted… we could get a better understanding
Nome, AK… Beached decaying grey whale washed up
Elim, AK… Several sightings of dead baby belugas… over the past few days. There is at least two more baby belugas washed up on the beach… we don’t see stranded ones very often… We are concerned… and wonder why they occur.
Moses Point, AK … dead beluga whale.
Old Harbor, AK… Dead humpback whale… Our concern has to do with the impact it might have to our subsistence lifestyle. It is unusual to find so many dead whales.
Saint George, AK… Red colored water observed in harbor… The community members who brought this to my attention said they haven’t seen anything like this.

Eureka Times Standard, Jul 29, 2015: With recent fish counting surveys on two Klamath River tributaries showing alarmingly low numbers… fisheries experts are growing increasingly concerned… The South Fork Trinity River is also showing a low presence of wild Chinook salmon adults… Fisheries experts are not certain why the tributaries have such a low salmon population…
Washington Post, Jul 30, 2015: … Native American tribes are becoming increasingly worried [wild salmon] might disappear… the current threat is worse than anything they have seen… “We’re very worried,” said Kathryn Brigham, chair of the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission… An estimated quarter-million salmon, more than half of the spring spawning run up the Columbia River, perished, likely killed by a disease that thrives in warm water and causes gill rot… Adults stay in the Pacific Ocean from three to seven years… Some populations “could go extinct,” [Greg McMillan with Oregon’s Deschutes River Alliance] said.
KOIN transcript, Jul 27, 2015: Half of the sockeye salmon in the Columbia River are dying… Biologists are calling this die-off unprecedented… (Nick Blevins, fisherman:) “The fish are not looking in good condition… Some of them will have lesions… The sockeye already have gill diseases“… It could be the end for these endangered species. (Blevins:) “For something that’s been here longer than us that’s going to go to extinction, we’re not too far behind then.”
Spokesman Review, Jul 24, 2015: “Never in my entire (29-year) career have I seen anything like this,” [Jeff Korth, fisheries manager] said. “A minimum of 300,000 adult salmon have died… We’re seeing big gaping sores… 15,000 sockeye tried to go up the Okanogan last week… They all died… My goal was to retire before ocean conditions go to hell again.”
Seattle Times, Jul 27, 2015: … the Columbia [has turned] into a kill zone where salmon immune systems are weakened and fish die of infections… Some [are] suffering from a bacterial disease. Others have backs covered with a mottled white fungus. All are expected to die… Mary Peters, a microbiologist who works for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service [said] “It’s crazy.”… Salmon also face challenges in the ocean… “My guess is that this is going to be one of the poorest years for salmon (ocean) survival” said Bill Peterson, a [NOAA] scientist… “Things do not look good”… Diseased fish with red marks that are signs of a bacterial infection have been found… Some of them actually have red splotches all over…
Daily Record, Jul 31, 2015: [Toby Kock, Columbia River Research Laboratory biologist is] seeing a great many fish suffering from columnaris bacterial infections which shows up as frayed or ragged fins, ulcerations and fungus-like white patches on skin and gill filaments.
Spokesman Review, Jul 17, 2015: “Catastrophic“ is a word that’s being used as scientists begin to unravel the mystery… [They’re] finding dead fish, both shad and sockeye… the words scientists use to describe what’s going on are freakier than the photos:
WA Dept of Fish & Wildlife: “Very bad news… carnage is ugly… conversion rates… 2-5%”
Scientist from B.C., Canada: “Catastrophic losses… have begun to occur… It may be advisable for DFO communications to identify “talking points”… very soon to get out in front of events… [in] more than 40 years and cannot remember anything comparable to what were currently seeing unfold on the coast!“
