  1. It looks like major media (corp. America) jumped on the 2 policemen shot story to kill coverage of the mass uprising against the police state and police racism.
Millions of peaceful, effective (traffic blocking, shopping stopping) protestors in NYC are now tagged as violent because one guy punched out an officer on the Brooklyn Bridge demo.
Considering the numbers of incident-free events this is really a peaceful movement.

Now the police are insubordinate rude-boys when near the mayor. The way they are in lock step with their mobbed up PBA without question is exactly the culture the protestors are trying to change. This lock step is what police in the precinct where Mr. Louima was raped practiced. They all heard the screaming and near murder of the innocent kidnap victim and not a one would help, get help or testify.

Nothing in their insane, cult-like behavior has been affected by the whole country telling them they need to change their ways.

Oh, and the mafia-linked PBA is ultra palsy-walsy with slumlords and many police murders in NYC have been in relation to that (ie Mrs. Bumpers). More on mobbed up PBA –

They kill poor people of color and ignore the biggest crooks in the city (on Wall Street).
