Last week, at the end of the week, Illinois had rad readings up at Alert level on netc.com radiation monitoring site. I have a monitoring unit here in Georgia. Wow, the readings are up again. Not just a little up, but a lot up. They tell you to check other resources when the level gets to Alert level, and by all means, you should.
I usually don’t post these alerts on my blogs, but this one keeps going back to Alert level. I know that the Honeywell facility up in Illinois had an accident recently that resulted in a large release:
